We had our reception at the Eden Room which is a cozy tucked away area above the main restaurant. The staff, especially Madison were EXTREMELY accommodating and made our big day so special! They helped with ordering beautiful flowers and adjusting the menu as needed for our guests who did not eat pork. The food was absolutely perfect and their wine selection paired so well with everything! We had a party of 29 and everyone fit well in this space! You could definitely host a gathering of 30 comfortably and the ambiance is a gorgeous gilded 1920's speakeasy feel. Please check this space out for your next event!

P.S. the picture below is just of the planning of the event. Will add more of the day of the event!

Made reservations for a Wednesday night and we were easily accommodated.

Started with their whiskey cocktail (can't remember the name), basically their version of old fashioned and loved it!

We shared the PT fries, slightly overpriced but they were delicious! It's a good appetizer for sharing.

For my entree, I got the Pork Chop and it was delicious! I loved it and my friend said it's probably one of the best ones he has ever had. My other friend got the Scallops and loved it as well.

We decided to share the creme brûlée and dark chocolate torte for dessert. I'm a chocolate person so I loved the torte! The brûlée comes with biscotti and wasn't bad either.

We all loved our food and were very satisfied.

It's definitely a fancy place and the prices are on a higher side.

Definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

Not for us. The servers seem like they'd rather be elsewhere than to be doing their jobs. I had a drink that I hated but server didn't try to make it right. Told him I couldn't drink it since it was too spicy and he just ignored me, in distain. The risotto was pretty terrible. The shape of the risotto was weird; it's almost like they make it in a batch and by 9pm, they were serving the bottom of the barrel. Menu hasn't changed in years and there are never any specials. Choices are: Brussels sprouts chips (the hottest app from 2010), deviled eggs, Marlowe burger (based off another sister restaurant), steak frites (how original), scallops, pork, risotto, beets (straight out of a Trader Joe's packaged beets), and some other very basic stuff I can't even remember due to it being super unoriginal.

All the other dishes we ordered were fine, mediocre, and a bit too salty. The valet gave us an attitude and charged us an extra $10 for "making him wait" and told us that "he has a life." There are so many other places that are amazing in the city. Park tavern is an established place so they don't need to care anymore. Glad they're doing well and supporting an economy of chefs and people in the service industry but it's really a pretty bad place minus the ambiance and the music selection. They need to overcharge for their lack of service, food quality, and lack of inspiration. I really feel bad for people who think this is a good restaurant as there are so many other places that are actually great and not just left standing because they have a backing of a large restaurant group.

Went there for a work gathering and I fell in love. Everything was perfectly done. Every detail was thought about and everyone in our group were vey satisfied.

I picked at at a ton of different things but what stuck out the most was the truffle fries. It doesn't stop there - the dipping sauce is a spicy aioli and soft boiled egg with caviar. These aren't chef, these are food scientist. That combination of fries with the luscious yolk and pop of caviar is probably the top 5 things I have ever eaten. I am not bougie at all but it's worth splurging on yourself. The entree was delicious it was recommended by the waiter to try the pork chops. It was cooked perfectly and had a nice kick to it.

I would say if I were going on my own I don't know if prices would of appealed to me or the few entree options at first glance. Nonetheless I will bring my partner here when I am back in the Bay.

I heard about this place (and their hamburgers) a lot and finally had an opportunity to test and taste.
The bottom line - It's OK, but there are better burgers (and desserts).
Let's start with what worked well -
    * Impressive location - Big place.
    * The deviled eggs are fantastic.
    * The hamburger. From the photos I've added, you can see that it's a popular dish in this restaurant. From what I saw, close to 70-80% of the plates going out were these burgers. It's almost perfect* (more below). French fries crunchy and great.
    * Creme brulee was delicious
    * Fairly priced - 5 people, 4 appetizers, 5 main courses, 3 desserts, and drinks - about $200 with tip.

    The not so good
    * Maybe we got unlucky but it was really loud during our visit. We were five people and it was hard to communicate
    * Hamburgers - A bit too salty (I swear, that's the first time in my life I felt this way about food) and the bun didn't feel fresh enough. Almost hard in some places.
    * One of our friends had the Salmon dish - The salmon was rare on the inside. He mentioned it was very bland and just not good.
    * Except for the Creme Brulee, we also had the ice-cream sandwich (was ok) and the birthday cake which was not good and almost tasted like it's gone bad.

tl;dr - It's a nice place, with good food and not too expensive. Is the best restaurant in the city? No. But it's a nice place if you are in the area with a decent menu.
